The building came into the possession of the Márton couple from Kömpöc a few of years ago, who
were passionate about preserving values. The ethnographic collection house is located in a
frequented place, next to the village hall of Kömpöc, in the heart of the small village. The building
serves as a venue for community programs in addition to showcasing traditions and providing the
opportunity for visitors to view the collection. Items are constantly added to the collection, not only
by the couple, but also by the kind offers of the residents of Kömpöc as well as people with some
connection to Kömpöc.
