On the road leading to Szeged, 4 km-s away from the city, you can find the first and only museum on the events of 1956 in Hungary, founded by the legendary commander-in-chief of Corvin-köz, Gergely Pongrátz out of his own forces, in memory for the heroes of 1956. Original objects, flags and works of art can be seen in the museum, part of which was offered by the former fellow soldiers. The building of the museum used to be an educational institution. In front of the museum a chapel was built in the honour of all the victims.
